Recently, I appeared on a television show in Jamaica to talk about rewarding employees without having a budget. Here is the link to the video interview, which lasted about 8 minutes.
Over the past few weeks, I have made a few public appearances on the topic of time management as it relates to information overload. They include a speech, plus interviews on radio and television.
What’s interesting is that they all took place within the space of a week!
Here is the interview on TVJ on their early morning show:
Here’s the speech I gave on the method I’m using to decide whether or not to choose a smartphone.
I also gave an interview on the same topic of information overload on a radio show on Power 106FM – “Both Sides of the Story.” It lasted about an hour and brought in several others to give their perspective, which made it interesting. Simply visit the link to the 2Time Audios page and look for the audio on Information Overload.
Let me know what you think of these either here in the comments, or over at my Facebook page.
Recently I took on a pretty difficult topic — how to fix the weekly review that is the cornerstone of so many time management systems.
The result was a video that is well over 20 minutes long, that has apparently upset some of the established thinking. I published it over at my time management blog: 2Time: Time Management 2.0
Back in September, I was interviewed by Aldo Owen of Businessuite… long before I became his co-host on Bess100FM’s Businessuite Today.
We discussed the topic of corporate culture here in the Caribbean, and I gave my views on whether or not culture can be changed.
Good news! I now have the pleasure of co-hosting a fairly new radio program here in Jamaica, on BESS FM – 100.1.
It’s a business program, and I got off the mark on February 1st with a focus on the topic of the acquisition of Air Jamaica by Caribbean Airlines.
I’ll be working for a while with Aldo Owen, who is working alongside me while I develop some of the skills needed to be a good radio host.
Anyone can tune in to the show at http://bessfm.com and hear it from 5pm-7pm when it’s live on the air and internet. Both the audio and video of the control booth are on the site, and now and then we interact with our listeners via the chat room.
Before I came on the station, I did do a few guest appearances. Here is an 11 minute recording of a radio interview I did in late 2009 on the topic of corporate culture.
I have just launched a series of new videos on Time Management over at my blog. They cover the Top 10 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) About Time Management, and plus the Top 10 Questions that People Should be Asking (SAQ’s) About Time Management.
They are immediately available for the price of free registration.

Today I had the honor of being interviewed by Amie Devero, the author of Powered by Principle and the host of a new internet radio show called AmieDeveroLive.
The interview lasted an hour and can be heard by clicking on the link here.
To those who might have heard the podcast or live show, thanks for visiting and if you are interested in hearing more about my work in time management, please visit http://2time-sys.com
Incidentally, Amie just happens to be a former partner of Framework Consulting who features some of our work together in her new book.

In 2007 I had the opportunity to interview Grace Kennedy CEO Douglas Orane at the HRMAJ Conference in Ocho Rios.
Here is a 3 minute excerpt from the start of that 63 minute interview. Copies are available for sale at the HRMAJ headquarters in Kingston.

From our archives — a 2000 interview of Paul Thomas, former CEO of Lascelles Division of Lascelles de Mercado.
In an interview with Beverly Anderson-Manley of the Breakfast Club, he talks about the impact of some of the changes he has made at the company, using the services of Framework Consulting.
