If you attended the conference you experienced a treat – a speech from the
inventor of the Balanced Scorecard approach, Dr. Robert Kaplan of Harvard University. He was the feature speaker, and attracted many business leaders from corporate Trinidad and Tobago who have been implementing his ideas.
“Facilitating Strategy for Human Resource Professionals” picks up where he left off.
At Framework Consulting, we started using his ideas within months of the publication of his strategy mapping paper in the Harvard Business Review in 2000. We saw it as a breakthrough approach at the time and have been working with clients across the region to implement strategy in their organizations, closing the gap between creating ideas and implementing them.
Using what we know, we have developed an “HR” version of our training to mark the occasion of the 10th Biennial HRMATT Conference. This training will be a powerful one that will give all attendees (experts and novices alike):
- the language needed to convince their fellow executives/managers that strategy is not just the job of top leadership, but must engage all employees. This will make you a powerful advocate.
- the principle needed for implementing a strategic planning retreat that’s based on the BSC/Strategy Map. This will help ensure that you can explain the approach and its background to all who may have questions.
- an opportunity to learn by doing. This training is interactive and includes elements of gamification to help make things interesting! You will practice several of the skills required in real-time.
