Scott Hilton-Clarke

sh-clarke4Scott Hilton-Clarke is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Inspirational Laboratories, a start up focused on the creation of new media products and companies.  Prior to Inspiration Labs, Scott co-founded Confida Corporation, a management consulting firm specializing in the implementation of strategic initiatives and the development of leadership teams.

Scott has worked extensively with senior executives and entrepreneurs to guide them in achieving superior organizational effectiveness and breakthrough financial performance. He has focused much of his work in the areas of strategic leadership development and project management, particularly in the management of complex, enterprise-wide technology and change initiatives. It is with this experience and understanding that Scott has developed a myriad of software solutions focused on enhancing the execution and delivery capabilities of Leaders and their teams.

Scott’s experience has spanned a wide range of industries, including the Information Technology, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Financial Services sectors and has involved primarily Fortune 500 Corporations, the US Federal Government and various Caribbean conglomerates. Scott’s latest product, “Promisystem” is perhaps the world’s first easy and reliable tool to help Executives and their teams record and manage the promises of their key priorities.

A graduate of St. Mary’s College, Trinidad, Scott earned his M.B.A. from Harvard University and his B.S. in Information Systems and Economics from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Prior to Confida, Scott worked at Symmetrix (a boutique management consulting firm serving Fortune 500 companies), where he was engaged in the development and implementation of reengineered business practices and IT systems. Scott also worked for IBM Corporation in the areas of product development, finance, and product planning, where he won both Divisional and Laboratory Awards.

In 2003, Scott published and presented a paper entitled “Managing an Impossible Project” at the Southern Caribbean Project Management Institute Conference in Trinidad. He was also a featured speaker at the National Conference of the Minority Business Development Association (US Commerce Department) in San Diego, CA in 2004, where he spoke on “Enhancing Personal Productivity in the Workplace”. Scott was a co-founder and a member of the Board of Directors of the Harvard Business School Community Partners Program which was established in 2002 and which offers pro-bono consulting services to Non-Profit Organizations in South Florida.

He is currently on the Board of Governors of the University of Trinidad and Tobago and is Chairman of the Information Communications Technology Advisory Committee, the Human Resource Sub-Committee, the Academy of Performing Arts and the Academy of Fashion and Design.

Scott lives in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
